Pre-LASIK

Ha... yes LASIK, I am going! What!? Lasik?(click the movie)

Days before surgery: 3days
My feeling now: a bit nervous...
Things to be done: clean the room, bed and toilet. make sure it is 99% bacteria-free. Stock up food for 1 week (Don't think I will be leaving the house).

MY Steps to LASIK:

  1. Gather information about lasik
    http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/LASIK/expect.htm
http://www.allaboutvision.com/visionsurgery/(Try the "Are You a Candidate for LASIK?" test. It can be useful)
One thing must take note is HAVING REALISTIC EXPECTATION. LASIK won't guarantee you a 20/20 or 6/6 (different measurement) vision, although perfect vision is achievable. The acceptable and so called normal corrective vision to be achieved is 7.5 - 9 over 6 (roughly 50-100 degrees).

  2. Consider the need of LASIK
This up to each individual. For me, I don't want spec on my face while I am doing sport and when I am working long hours.

  3. Find the right specialist & the right price
A doctor friend from TTSH recommend me Dr. Lee Hung Ming from TTSH. He is a senior consultant. Enquiries hotline 63578383. Standard LASIK SGD1590.00 per eye.

  4. Go for pre-LASIK consultation
pre-LASIK consultation cost SGD196.15 (for senior consultant)

  5. Reconsider the need of LASIK
Hahaha... have to think twice! Decide and choose wisely (just for laugh)!

  6. Make appointment & GO GO GO!

Happy Lunar New Year

Hi dear all:

First of all, wish everyone a Happy and Wealthy New Year!

It has been a while since my last post. I was busying with the CNY template of this blog and design another blog for my company (http://outsidethelt.blogspot.com) . There is a tiny Singapore map on top of the blog, that is the new THING. It is not done yet, hopefully it will be available before April.

For IE 6 users, you might experience problem viewing this blog correctly. Please use FireFox, Opera or update your IE 6 to IE 7.

Besides that, this is also the time to apply to Uni and Poly for the O-level students. Was busy choosing course, honestly there aren't many choice to choose from. My company aka NYP was flooded with secondary students past two weeks because of the JAE.

Finally I will be going home aka Sabah on this Saturday! HURRAY! This is my first time going back for CNY since 2003. 4 bloody years, I have been in Singapore. HOME~ here I come.....

Coming soon....

  • Sandakan trip
  • pre-LASIK
  • post-LASIK
stay tuned..... Auf wiedersehen
